Karisma Kapoor is making her debut in the web space with ALTBalaji’s Mentalhood. Now, SpotboyE.com has learnt that actor Sanjay Suri has been roped in to essay the role of her husband on the show
Bollywood diva Karisma Kapoor is all set to debut on the digital space with ALTBalaji’s Mentalhood. Speaking about the same, Karisma told IANS, “It (acting) is ingrained in you. It is something that never goes away. I was waiting for something really interesting. It was out of my choice that I didn’t do any film because my kids were very young. It was out of choice that I wanted to be at home with my family and children.”
And now, SpotboyE.com has learned that another Bollywood actor has been roped in to play Karisma’s husband on the show. The actor in question is Sanjay Suri who was seen in films like Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, Filhaal, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, Heroine, Hindi Medium and Raazi. Karisma might be debuting on the web space front with this show, but Sanjay has done series on the digital space like Dev DD, Inside Edge. He was last seen in Love, Lust And Confusion Season 2.
Karisma and Sanjay haven’t shared the screen space earlier, but the actor had replaced Lolo in the film I Am. His role of a child abuse victim in Onir’s I Am was originally written for Karisma and the film was supposed to be titled as You And I, with which Karisma was to make a comeback in tinsel town. However, the actress later changed her mind about returning to Bollywood.
