Juhi Chawla is a part of Onir’s ‘I AM’, a film that has made it to several film festivals and won critical acclaim. The actress is a part of a short film the title of which is ‘I am Megha’. Apparently, this particular story that has the backdrop of Kashmir is based on a true life incident experienced by Sanjay Suri, who also acts in ‘I AM’.

“Sanjay narrated his experiences to me, and I was shocked at what he and his family have gone through. Imagine there are so many of them who may have gone through similar difficult circumstances and had to leave their homes to be refugees in their own country. I was shocked on hearing his story,” said Juhi Chawla.

Juhi has been part of the Onir-directed film ‘My Brother Nikhil’ that starred Sanjay Suri in the lead too. Excited about ‘I AM’, the actress came forward and opted to be part producer of the venture.
