Nora Fatehi signed opposite Sanjay Suri in My Birthday Song

After her debut in Kamal Sadanah’s Roar:Tigers of the Sundarbans, Canadian actress Nora Fatehi has been roped in to play the female lead in My Birthday Song, opposite Sanjay Suri. The film, which will be directed by debutante Sameer Soni, is a psychological thriller. “I play the character of an independent, smart, serious but intimidating Indian woman who has grown up in New York. She has her own travel business, while Sanjay (Suri) plays an ad film-maker. It’s not a love story, but is a psychological thriller and is very performance-based. Interestingly, instead of a Bollywood music track, the film has western music,” revealed Nora.
The film that went on the floors on December 7, with a 22-day schedule will be shot in Gurgoan. My Birthday Song is slated to release in 2015. In the meantime Nora’s next release will be Prakash Jha’s Crazy Cukkad Family that will release in January 2015.
