Hi! Shahbaz,
Thanks for visiting my site and sending me your question.
I really don’t have favourites but I do have a wish list like Madhuri, Kajol and a few others. I think they are very talented and natural.
Thanks

- Ashish |
Dear Ashish,
Thanks for your mail.
All I can say is that you can take me out of kashmir but not kashmir out of me.
It was my home and my childhood and that means a lot to me.

Hi Subhash,

"Hi Sanjay,
I have enjoyed watching your movies , especially Jankar Beats and My Brother Nikhil. I just wanted to know which school did u go to in srinagar. Was it Burn Hall School? and if yes which batch? I passed out from Burn Hall in 1989-90. I had a class mate whose name was also Sanjay Suri. His Mother was a librarian in our school. Any Connections?
"
- Kamal |
Hi Kamal,
Thanks four mail.
Yes I did go to Burn Hall School but passed my 10th from there in 1986. So you are my junior.
Those days there was no +2 in school so did that in Gandhi College.
Best wishes

"U know i was taken aback with your work in "My Brother Nikhil"..i was juss overwhelmed...it made me cry like no other film has...and your work is phenomenal...i also appreciate the fact that u chose to play a gay character, a strong political statement in itself..
But Sanjay u know how the mainstream is eager to type an actor, lock him into playing certain kinds of characters...be advised to not fall into the trap and maintain a balance...please, u r a wonderful actor and though u mite not think mainstream commercial roles are something u shud be dying to get, please dun deprive us of your warm and sensitive presence in more and more films...
Are you taking constructive steps towards this end? please make the right balanced career choices and dont restrict urself to a certain kind of roles..
Love and best wishes.

Dear Sameer,
Thanks for your precious mail and advise.
I do know what you mean but at the same time I would like to say that it’s not me who is keeping away from all that , but mainstream makers somehow keep away from me ?
I am working towards that without losing out on what I stand for.
Best wishes
