Sanjay i cannot say much but i can understand your felling because i feel the same but what touches me the most about you is-"I believe and know that nature moves ahead and one should not move back but then that back is where our identity comes from .The past is important because it has prepared you for the future. And visiting that past is like finding your foot prints in the cold breezy desert sand". Sanjay We will Go back-- GOOD LUCK FOR SIKANDHAR--

Sanjay, we all know that you have faced tough times in life and rising to the Stardom must have been a real hardwork. Being from the same community i can not only feel but i can also understand the pain inside you for you have lost your Dad in militancy. But the maturity with which you have moved on is visible on your face and the way you carry yourself. After reading the article by E. Nina Rothe, i was myself taken back to the 90's when we had to move out of Srinagar for the reasons you now. Infact i had been to Srinagar too a few weeks back, the reason being the same that my wife had never seen Kashmir before. I wanted to show her where we lived and what is missing in our lives. I had the same feelings that you have expressed in the article and that's the reason i came here to drop in some lines. I wish you all the best for your future endeavors and hope you accomplish what you have desired for as you deserver the best. Regards, Sunil Fotedar

Hi Sanjay, Your personality impresses me while I met you at the shooting locations for As the river flows. I have noticed your seriousness towards palying the role. During the shooting hours you try to get into the character and as the shooting gets over, you become Sanjay. I think I am right. bye sanjay, see you.

Sanjay is part of a new breed of actor (and he's one of the first) that is changing the face of contemporary Hindi cinema. Taking on very challenging and unconventional roles and essaying them with great sensitivity, sensibility and nuance, Sanjay has played no small part in broadening the hitherto rather limited scope of Hindi film actor, both in terms of form and content. In terms of content, Sanjay has played a gay man (My Brother Nikhil) and a man sodomised in jail (Bas Ek Pal), huge risks in a deeply homophobic and sexually conservative industry. In terms of form, he brings a subtlety and depth to his performances (almost all of them) by being understated, not hogging screen time, not hamming. With a marvellously protean face, he conveys the smallest changes in emotion with the slightest shift of a facial muscle. I also think he is terrifically good-looking and, as a gay man, I have a huge crush on him. Keep up the good work, Sanjay, and I hope you get better films than the recent Firaq and Sorry Bhai, both of which I did not like and in which I thought you were wasted.

Dear Sanjay, I have been a great fan of yours since your Indian Holiday days!!! And i thought you performed really well as an actor in all of your films. As i see it, you have been doing offbeat, different kinda cinema and taken risk as a newcomer. But i want to see u in an out and out romantic movie with beautiful songs, locales as u have such gr8 looks! Nevertheless your performance in My Brother Nikhil has been awesome! it just had me in tears!
