I work in the Arena, so I had the oppertunity to come close to all teh actors and everyone there and it was really great. I hope to see you soon (again) in Holland. You can also tell me when you're here, and which hotel you will be staying. thnxxx Ishara "

"Hi Sanjay, how are you?
I saw your movie 'Bas Ek Pal' and i must say, you did a wonderfull job and the movie really impressed me. It did something to me, so that I can't forget the scenes and you.Normally I don't really feel any connection with a movie, but this time it was different. But I don't understand a part at the end. What did you ask anamika (Urmila) to promise you in the end? I really want to know. I thought that if i saw the movie again, maybe I will understand, but yeh movie phir se dekhne ki himmat nahin hai, aur.....bhool bhi ni sakti. Can you please tell me. And did the movie had something to do with your personal life? I wanna say that you are fantastic and I wish you all the best! xxx-Ishara
."
- Ishara |
Thanks again for writing in.
I am glad you like the movie BEP. In the end what I wanna tell her is that “Promise
me that you will remember me with love and not hatred”. But before he can
say that Nikhil dies. So that’s
that.
Gluck and best wishes

"Hi Sanjay, I just finished watching bas ek pal about 5
mins ago - and thought you did a great job! Something made me look up your name
on the net and I find this web site ... Anyways, it was interesting to find out
that you are a kashmiri - because I am a kashmiri too...I can understand part
of your pain cause I was there too.. ...When we long for life without...difficulties,
remember that oaks grow strong in contrary winds and diamonds are made under
pressure." I live in the states now but part of me is still in srinagar...
I am in my final year of graduation I am not writing to you because I a fan of
yours but because there is some connection between us ..I am not sure what it
is...Take care sanjay .... Anu"
- anu raina |
Dear Anu,
Thanks for your mail. I could make out from your name that you are a kashmiri
(Raina), after all there are a few of us Well, since you are just graduating
I think you must have been very very small in 1990. Thanks for the encouraging
poetic words, they do help Am glad you enjoyed my film. I hope you will like
my forth coming films too. Best wishes to you for your final year and your future
ahead. Sanjay Suri.

"Sanjay,I have been a fan of yours since your first movie,
Pyar mein kabhi kabhi. I infact liked you more in that movie than Dino. No offence
to Dino.I found your acting more mature. I also liked you in My Brother Nikhil
also.I think for the first time I saw you in swimming trunks in this movie. You
have good physique. Great going buddy! I haven\'t seen you in any new films recently.
Whats up? Hey Sanjay, I feel you look better with your long hairs than your current
short cut. Hope I do get to see you more often in the films. Cheers, Sunil "
- Sunil |
Dear Sunil,
Thanks for your mail. Am glad you like MBN. Well, now I have longer hair.
Cheers, Sanjay Suri.

"Hey Sanju Wow, I?ve loved all your movies, you are just
simply astounding. First time I saw you in Pyar Me Kabhi Kabhi and I just fell
in love with you. I actually cursed the actress of that movie for choosing Dino's
character over yours. I think you just have the most gorgeous and charming smile
I?ve ever seen. The glow in your eyes is just breath taking. hmmm I know I know
I am blabbing here but hey you should know how your fans feel. :) I've always
seen you in character driven movies and never in any commercial film though I
think you do great job have you ever consider doing the main stream commercial
movies? And what kind of commercial movie would you ever go for? Will you do
a movie if yash chopra or karan johar ever offered you one? I end right here.
Do well. Good Luck. :) "
- Nisha |
Hey Nisha,
Thanks for your flattering mail. It makes me happy that you have been following
my career and watching my films. Am also flattered by your compliments :) Well,
its not that I don’t want to do mainstream bollywood films but am not ready
to do just about anything or insignificant roles just to be a part of those big
films. Well, if Karan or Mr Chopra approach me, then why not :) Good luck to
you too.
Best wishes, Sanjay Suri - Sanjay Suri |

"Hey, i was wondeing whats the hardest thing about being
an actor? How do you manage not allowing everything to your head? Take care "
- Aarti |
Hey Aarti,
Thanks for your mail. Well, every profession has its tough sides and the easy
ones; similarly an actors profession can be very tough at times and easy at another.
Being an actor is a matter of passion, interest, conviction, focus, discipline,
creativity, learning, growth, etc etc, so if all this is hard… then it
is:)
Best wishes, Sanjay Suri - Sanjay Suri |

"Hello Sanjay! I am an engineer employed with an MNC in
Bangalore and I have a few stories. I saw "BAS EK PAL" and I dunno
what I am writing this to you. If you are interested to know that way life moves
about in my thoughts.. Do call me. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.
Thanks and regards, Roohi. "
- Roohi Zafar |

your willingness to share your ideas and thoughts. Am sure as and when we need
a story we would consider your offer. Best wishes Sanjay Suri.

"Hi Sanjay, It takes immense courage and determination
to portray the life of a gay. My Bro Nikhil is one of the most touching films
I have ever seen and being a closeted gay I can identify myself with the pathos,
agony, and the trauma. I congratulate you for the superb acting and being brave
to produce the film. Rituparno Ghosh I understand is making a film on Draupadi
and apparantly Bipasha Basu ( draupadi ) and John abraham ( arjun ) are in; I
feel you are the perfect choice for portraying the role of Krishna......what
do you think? So far as I am aware Ritu has not found his Krishna. "
- arka banerjee |
Hi Arka,
Thanks for your mail and your words of appreciation. Am not sure if Ritu has
me in mind for the role, but thanks for the tip. I will check with him.
Best wishes, Sanjay Suri .

- Roya |
Hi Roya,

film, its Onir. Anyways, good luck.
