I have seen your two movies Filhal & my brother Nikhil....you have indeed done a fab job. I love the kinda cinema you do, and man you are quiet natural...i didnt feel at all that you realy make a conscious effort to act.....needless to say your looks comlipment your acting.
Wishing you the very best for your future endeavors and quiet looking forward to watch your next film.
PS: Its the first time i have ever written to an actor.....your performance surely deserves larger cinema.

"Hey Sanjay,
Never had a doubt that you were a good actor, with great things in store for you!Keep it up! I'm not ashamed (even though I'm 27+) to admit that I wept during "MY bROTHER NIKHIL"...What a moving performance, and a fantastic movie! The whole team was awesome, and you chemistry with Juhi simply rocks!
Have fun and keep making movies you believe in!

"hi sanjay,
first of all, congratulations on a brilliant performance in MBN. My question
to you is...which is more difficult...making up your mind to do MBN or living
up to the mamoth expectations that your frens have of you after MBN?
Heard you been to shillong...boy how i missed that!
Anyway, goodluck and continue to do good work!
Nina Barua"
- Nina |
Hi Nina,
Thanks for writing to me.
Well, that’s a tricky one!!! Doing MBN was a passion and now hoping to
be a part of all kinds of cinema is my challenge. I am sure my fans wont be disappointed
by my choices. But you must realize sometimes situations makes a person take
decisions which might not be out of choice.
Best wishes,
Sanjay Suri.

"
dear suri
How r u i hope u will b fine and going good and best of luck. I am very happy
2 find ur site. Really u built a beautiful site 4 ur fans 2 know all about u
like me because befor i didn't know more about u. But i hear only ur name and
wachted only ur 2 movies (filhaal and my brother nikhal). so beautiful movie
and with out that i saw u at IFFA award at Amsterdam but i didn't recognize u,
then one of my friend said me that he is suri and now i found ur site known all
about u and i will pray 4 u 4 ur bright future and a big star in bollywood...
I was the biggest fan of salman... and want 2 meet with him... but i couldn't...????
do you think stars r arrogant or not, if they r then why????? but i think if
u become a big star then maybe u also be like them but i hope u will not be like
them and i hope u will be a big star soon.
Dear i have a request that is do u give me ur id of hotmail r yahoo and when
ur coming 2 netherland then inform me because i want 2 meet u.
best wishes muhsin khan"
- Muhsin |
Dear Muhsin,
Thankyou for your mail.
I understand your disappointment with the Stars but you have to try to understand
their situation, they have to meet millions of people and they get mobbed and
crowded everywhere so they kind of keep themselves away from that. I know they
should at least be welcoming but maybe sometimes even the security doesn’t
allow them.
But keep the faith and I hope you will meet Salmaan soon.
Thanking you for your wishes for me.
Keep checking my site and you would know if I am coming to Netherlands.
Best wishes, Sanjay Suri

"Hi Sanjay...
I dont really have a question to ask you...I just wanted to tell you that I thought
'My Brother...Nikhil' was fantastic... I watched it at theatre in Singapore with
my husband and only 3 other people in the whole theatre..Was really disappointed
to see that such films are not being appreciated as much as they should be..It
was such an honest and brilliant effort and so simple and well made...I wish
we'd make more movies like this in India because we surely have the potential
to do so...Sure, escapist cinema is what we want in india, but sometimes we need
to put across important msgs on the best canvas in our country: cinema...which
is what you did with this movie...kudos to your director too..And I think its
really wonderful that you opt for experimental movies which u probably are aware
that may not appeal to the 'moolah-raking' masses...It shows that u are interested
in the true spirit of cinema...I hope that someday simple and straightforward,
talented actors like you actually get the level of recognition they deserve..because
its people like you who remind us that quality still exists...Even if u dont
reply, I hope you do have the time to read this message!! wish u good luck for
your future projects....Divya"
- Divya Babu |
Dear Divya,
Thankyou for your mail and the feedback. It feels great to know that someone
out there still enjoys sensible cinema. There is really no shortage of talented
film makers but when there are only 3 people in the theatres then the entire
faith is broken. Its our audience who refuse to look beyond the escapist formulae.
But there is hope and I live on that hope. I have an audience like yourself :)
Assuring you of good cinema in the future.
Best wishes, Sanjay Suri.
